Brickset
“These minifigures are undoubtedly impressive but are simply not a match for the standard set by other Bricktober packs this year. It is lovely to see a female mechanic as CITY sets rarely depict women in such a role and I like her new torso printing.”

Brick Fanatics
“The LEGO City pack includes an interesting mix of minifigures inspired by the recent Jungle subtheme, that sees scientists and adventurous types exploring in the depths of the nature. Two explorers, a scientist and a mechanic make up this set. Of all of the Bricktober... More releases, this is the hardest one to recommend because fans of the theme will already have plenty of versions of these minifigures from the actual sets.”

About Toys R Us

The LEGO Toys R Us theme sets were produced in collaboration with Toys R Us and were usually exclusive to their stores. Over the years, various exclusive sets or promotions were made available only through Toys R Us, often aligning with special events, holidays, or movie releases. These exclusive sets covered a range of LEGO themes and were sought after by collectors and fans due to their limited availability. It's worth noting that while certain sets started as Toys R Us exclusives, some eventually became available through other retailers or directly from LEGO.

Toys R Us consists of 52 sets that ran from 2012 to 2024. As of today, 5004938 NINJAGO Minifigure Collection is the most valuable Toys R Us set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $397.
Summary
Promotional Toys R Us City Jungle Minifigure Collection set 5004940 was released in October 2017, retailing for $20, but has since been retired. New, unopened City Jungle Minifigure Collection sets are valued at $21, while used sets can be found for $12.
