Also known as Santa Cruz or Spanish Ship, it is the same model as 6280 Armada Flagship originally released in 1996. The vessel features a blue and white hull with slim-striped sails and red pennant flags, and includes a single cannon with three Imperial Armada soldiers. “Upon first glance this is a very nifty looking vessel with a blue and white color scheme. The colors make the ship look very regal like its intended to transport for royalty and other important business. It certainly doesn't look like a military or exploration vessel so I'm... More not sure if I'd assign it the lead position of my fleet. Overall the concept is nice but its a pity the design wasn't a bit more substantial. Not a bad ship and I like it more than the Caribbean Clipper because at least the Armada Flagship has an aft sail.”

“The Imperial Flagship is an impressive set with beautiful sails, a unique collapsing mast, and a large cloth flag with a striking emblem. The rotating cannon is a standout feature, adding a lot of playability, though the set could benefit from more cannons and a shark for added realism. Despite a few minor shortcomings, including a lack of higher-ranking minifigures, it’s a must-have for any LEGO pirate enthusiast, especially if you can add extra soldiers.”
 

About Pirates

Pirates was a LEGO theme introduced in 1989, running until 1997 and focused on the classic idea of Caribbean pirates that were pitted against soldiers of colonial empires. As the series progressed through the years, more factions were introduced and the older ones were phased out of production. The Pirates were one of the first two original factions in the theme to be introduced.
