LEGO 1388 Huki is a Bionicle Matoran set released in 2001, containing 8 pieces. It was distributed as a McDonald’s Happy Meal promotional item. The figure depicts the Matoran Huki with a disc-launching function triggered by pulling and releasing his arm. Huki wears a powerless Kanohi Kakama mask matching the design used for Toa 8531 Pohatu, and an identical version was issued as 40551 Huki through a LEGO partnership with Voira in Lithuania.

“The set was included in McDonald's Happy Meals in September 2001 as one of the six "Tohunga" sets. Each Happy Meal came with one of the six sets, randomly selected. The set consists of eight pieces. Huki's arms can be pulled back and released, making them shoot back forward.... More His right hand is capable of holding a Bamboo Disk, and doing this while he is holding the disk causes him to throw it.”

About Bionicle Matoran

The Matoran are BIONICLE citizens and are smaller than Toa warriors. There are several types of Matoran including Ko-Matoran, Ga-Matoran, Ta-Matoran, Le-Matoran, Onu-Matoran, Po-Matoran, and Av-Matoran. Various Matoran characters were made into more significant characters some even becoming Toa. If a Matoran from each Metru or Koro wish to combine their bodies they can form a being called a Matoran Nui.

Matoran consists of 35 sets that ran from 2001 to 2008. As of today, 8546 Bionicle Power Pack is the most valuable Matoran set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $177.
