“Inspired by the winner of the LEGO Ideas’ Build a Vintage Car competition that received twice as many votes as the runner-up, this exclusive Aedelsten Deluxe is a 1950s style hardtop convertible complete with a surfboard and two minifigures. Look for this fun detail on the... More license plate: A is for Arne (the German fan who won) M is for Mel (the LEGO designer) and 0937 is “LEGO” written with upside-down numbers. It's yours FREE with purchases over $85. 1/1-1/31 or while supplies last.*”

The Brothers Brick
“It's hard to find too much fault with a free promotional set, but even if I were paying $10 or $15 for this set, I'd love it. The Aedelsten Deluxe is a beautiful car that brings a much-needed touch of vintage class to the LEGO vehicle lineup, and teal and white are a... More gorgeous color combo. It's not flawless, but the nitpicks are minor. And with 188 pieces it's even a pretty darn good parts pack. What's not to like?”

True North Bricks
“The Vintage Car comes free with qualifying purchases at the LEGO® Store. However, if the store sold this set, I would buy one. It is a fantastic little build that uses old bricks in fun new ways. The new model lost some of the great details from the original fan design... More though. Additionally, the Minifigures need more detailing. Those are minor issues compared to the overall beautiful and clever design though.”

About Ideas Promotional

The LEGO Ideas theme, which started in 2008 as an offshoot of the Japanese website Cuusoo, then known as LEGO Cuusoo, is based around a website which allows users to submit ideas for LEGO products to be turned into potential sets available commercially. If fellow users in the LEGO Ideas community upvote the project to 10,000 then LEGO Group has a committee which votes on whether to build the set and release it.

Promotional was introduced in 2019 and currently consists of 14 sets. As of today, 40698 Books Are My Passion is the most valuable Promotional set with an estimated new/sealed value of $95.
