“The service station has three gas pumps and a car wash. The shop contains a counter and several oil cans. Next to the building is a small place for repairs with a car jack, a device for car tires and a small transport cart. Among the minifigures are two Octan employees and... More the driver of the car.”

“The LEGO Group brings together all the familiar aspects of a contemporary gas station in classic Octan colors (primarily white, with red and green stripes) with outside mechanic area, indoor cashier and snack area, an automated car wash stall and three fuel pumps partially... More sheltered by a large carport roof. Vehicles included with the set are a tow truck and an automobile. The three included Mini-Figures include two station attendants and a customer.”

About Town Shops and Services

Shops and Services holds the shops, garages and petrol stations of LEGO Town from 1980 to 2003. 6390 Main Street opened the line in 1980, a row of shops with 8 minifigures, and garages, car repair shops and service stations made up much of the rest, often with Shell logos in Europe and Exxon in North America until LEGO's own Octan brand replaced them. Food arrived with 6683 Hamburger Stand in 1983, 6376 Breezeway Cafe in 1990 and 6350 Pizza To Go in 1994.

Shops and Services consists of 29 sets that ran from 1980 to 2003. As of today, 6390 Main Street is the most valuable Shops and Services set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $3,099.
