LEGO LECA Automobile was a 251 piece Exclusive set released in 2005. This exclusive set was given to attendees of the LEGO Inside Tour. This was the very first LIT (LEGO Inside Tour) exclusive set, and was given out during the first two years of the tour. It is an updated version of a model built by Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen in 1962.

The current value for a new and sealed LECA Automobile is estimated around $6,586 today with current average yearly gain of about 26% but will level off in the next year closer to a 9% annual growth.

“Little did they know that this model would start a whole line of fantastic exclusives. There is a very amusing moment when Kjeld describes being told by the set designer (Henrik Andersen) that designers aren’t allowed to use a construction technique from the original model.... More The LIT was originally the idea of Camilla, and she took great efforts to make the tour a success. The box also contained the CD and an individually numbered, laser engraved 2 x 6 brick which could be built into the model as a license plate. This was the only unique part in the set, which contains 251 parts.”

About Exclusive LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive

The LEGO Inside Tour in Billund, Denmark is an annual exclusive event that is held a few times a year to a very limited number of attendees through a raffle type sign-up process. Lucky attendees of this 2-5 day experience learn how LEGO bricks are produced, meet the designers and take a tour through the LEGO Group’s unique history in Ole Kirk's original house featuring an extraordinary exhibition of LEGO sets and models that date back to 1934. At the end of the tour, each participant receives a LEGO set exclusively produced for the LEGO Inside Tour in cooperation with Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen to take home. These sets are exclusive to the tour only and maintain a considerable value on the secondary markets.

LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive was introduced in 2005 and currently consists of 15 sets. As of today, Ole Kirk's House is the most valuable LEGO Inside Tour Exclusive set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of $8,522.
