German Telekom Co-Branded LEGO Sets

LEGO and Deutsche Telekom collaborated in 2000 on a small series of officially licensed promotional sets themed around professional cycling, reflecting Telekom’s sponsorship of the Team Deutsche Telekom cycling team at the time. The collaboration produced four exclusive LEGO Town sets: 1196 Telekom Race Cyclist, 1197 Telekom Race Cyclist and Television Motorbike, 1198 Telekom Race Cyclists and Service Crew, and 1199 Telekom Race Cyclists and Winners’ Podium. These sets featured minifigures in Telekom’s distinctive magenta team colors, along with bicycles, support vehicles, and race accessories. Distributed mainly in Germany and select European markets, the sets were promotional in nature and not part of LEGO’s standard retail lineup.
