Sabah Co-Branded LEGO Sets

LEGO and Sabah, a Malaysian company, collaborated in the late 1990s on a series of promotional sets distributed primarily in Southeast Asia. This partnership produced a range of small LEGO Basic and FreeStyle models—mostly vehicles and animals—branded under the Sabah name. Sets in the promotion included 1777 Plane, 1778 Boat, 1779 Helicopter, 1823 Yacht, 1859 Aeroplane, 2135–2139 (various small aircraft and boats), and 2163 Toucan, 2164 Whale, and 2167 Penguin. These sets were typically packaged in polybags and distributed through Sabah consumer products or promotional events, aimed at encouraging creativity among younger builders
